Angel Receptionist Joan Adams wins Volunteer Award

On Friday 20th July 2007 our longest serving receptionist, Joan Adams, known to Angel listeners as 'Joan on the Phone', received an award presented by the Mayor of Havant in recognition of her commitment to volunteering with Angel Radio. Angel Radio's founder said "I'm delighted to see Joan get this award. Not only has she come to Angel Radio week after week for the past 6 years, she continued to work here even when her hips were giving her lots of pain. She works unsociable hours for us and is worth her weight in gold".
